Meet the Secretariats!

Nichole Tirado-Hidalgo 

Secretary General

Nichole Tirado is a senior at Central Jersey College Prep Charter School. She began her Model UN journey in 9th grade and has won two Secretary General awards. After competing in three different committees, WHO, FAO, and CND, she has decided to co-found CJCPMUN as Secretariat. Nichole is founder and president of the Hispanic Student Union and works as a student representative for the student council. She hopes delegates will learn plenty from this competition and leave with many new friends! 

Nehal Bajaj

Secretary General

Nehal Bajaj is a senior at Central Jersey College Prep Charter School. She began her Model UN journey in 6th grade and has continuously won at both national and international conferences, including Princeton Model United Nations Conference. She is also the executive director of the Ted-Ed Student Talk Club that conducts specialized public speaking training for middle and high school students. Nehal is excited to host CJCP’s first Middle School Model United Nations Conference and hopes to provide a safe learning environment for all the delegates.

Kunal Singh

Website Developer

Kunal Singh is a senior at Central Jersey College Prep Charter School. Since the beginning of 10th grade, he has competed in various Model UN competitions including Princeton Model UN and GCI MUN. Additionally, Kunal has made websites for various organizations. He hopes that the CJCPMUNC website can help guide you on your Model UN journey!

Myanelle Bituin

Social Media Manager

Myanelle Bituin is a rising sophomore and is very excited to be helping with CJCPMUN! Myanelle and Amina are working together to manage social media to keep everyone informed throughout the conference and beyond. A fun fact about her is that she is a competitive swimmer who enjoys swimming breaststroke and distance freestyle.

Hannah Mathias

Advisor

Mrs. Mathias is a Social Studies teacher at Central Jersey College Prep Charter School. She teaches AP U.S. History, AP Human Geography, Civics, U.S. I, and U.S. II. She has been the Model UN advisor for 5 years and has enjoyed watching her students grow throughout their time as delegates. Mrs. Mathias is excited for the first CJCP hosted Model UN competition.
