International Telecommunication Union (ITU)

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is a specialized agency of the United Nations responsible for information and communication technologies (ICTs). It develops global standards, coordinates radio spectrum allocation, and promotes collaboration in telecommunications. The ITU plays a vital role in bridging the digital divide by assisting developing countries in ICT infrastructure development.

Kunal Singh is a senior at Central Jersey College Prep charter and has been doing Model UN for 2 years. He has done many conferences in the past and won various awards, including Honorable Mention. Additionally, he has accomplished great things in extracurricular activities similar to MUN. With his past experiences and great effort, he will be serving as the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) chair for CJCPMSMUNC. He will work his hardest to make sure that the conference will be successful and a blast! One fun fact about Kunal is that he created the CJCP MUN website. Aanya Patel is a 10th-grade student attending Central Jersey College Prep. She began her Model UN journey back in 6th grade and has been a part of CJCPS Model UN Delegation for 4 years. She has had many accomplishments in MUN including winning two awards at international conferences. Outside of MUN she loves playing volleyball and is on the school's girl's volleyball team.
